Student Travel Grants for CPS-IoT Week 2023

With the support from US National Science Foundation (NSF) and ACM Special Interest Group on Embedded Systems (SIGBED), we are pleased to announce the availability of Student Travel Grants for students to attend CPS-IoT Week 2023. Please note there are TWO different Student Travel Grants.

Please check out the flyers for detailed information regarding eligibility, award preference, application links and apply for the grants accordingly. If you have any question, feel free to contact the award selection committee chair as listed in each flyer.

VISA and Support Letter

If you are an international attendee, you may need a valid VISA to enter USA. Please check the US Department of State for more information.
As part of the VISA application process, you may be required to include a visa support letter. To request a visa support letter, you need to register for the CPS-IoT Week 2023 first, and then email your request to the ACM Headquarters (supportletters@acm.org) with the following information included:

Visa support letters are processed in the order they are received. You will receive a PDF letter by email in 7-10 business days. The PDF serves as a signed electronic version of the original letter. Please print out your PDF visa support letter and take it with you to your visa appointment. The original letter is mailed only upon an explicit request. Note that visa support letters will be provided to only those participants who have registered and paid for the venue. Should a participant withdraw from the conference after the issue of the visa support letter, the consulate will be notified of the withdrawal accordingly.
ACM does not provide letters for transport of vendor or presenter equipment. ACM suggests shipping the materials insured to the conference facility.

Travel to San Antonio and UTSA

San Antonio is served by San Antonio International Airport (SAT) with direct flights from many major cities in US and easy connection flights from many cities in other areas such as European, South America, Australia and Asia.

The airport is about 14 miles from UTSA Main Campus (and DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton San Antonio Northwest) as shown in the map below. The best option from airport to UTSA Main Campus (or DoubleTree hotel) is to take a Taxi or Uber (cost around $25-$35). It takes about 20 minutes depending on traffics.
